To use it, you simply email the link of an article to go@skimit AI, ensuring the first URL link is included in the body of the email. Within approximately 10 minutes, you will receive an email containing the summary generated by OpenAI’s GPT technology. You can also share articles and summaries with friends by cc’ing them in your email. SkimIt AI does not retain any content within emails beyond the requesting email address, CC’d addresses, and the initial article link. It was created as a fun project by Karthik and Alex to practice AI text processing, email handling, and web scraping.
